NYC · Small gatherings · Big conversations

Good people.
Great conversations.
New York City.

The Avenue Society brings curious people together through thoughtfully hosted dinners, intimate socials, and shared experiences across the city.

Meet people beyond your usual circle. Leave with conversations that last past the evening.

The Avenue Society: good conversations, new connections, NYC. A candlelit evening with the Manhattan skyline behind the guests.

The next gathering.

Who comes

Curated, not exclusive.

Our guests work in technology, the arts, business, media, education, hospitality, investing, and a lot in between. Some are new to New York; some have been here for decades.

What they share is curiosity, generosity in conversation, and a wish to meet people they wouldn't otherwise cross paths with. You don't need a title, a plus-one, or a pitch. We keep gatherings small so everyone actually gets to talk.

How it works

What it's like to attend.

  1. 01

    Request a spot

Every gathering has one registration button, and it takes you to Luma. That's the only RSVP that holds your place.

  2. 02

    Get confirmed

We review requests to keep the group small and balanced. Confirmed guests receive the exact address.

  3. 03

    Come as you are

Most people arrive on their own. Your host makes introductions, so there are no name-tag rounds and no forced networking.

  4. 04

    Stay in touch

After each evening you'll hear about the next one first. The connections you make are yours to keep.

Good to know

Do I need to bring someone?

No. Coming alone is completely normal, and it's the point. The host will make sure you meet people.

I RSVP'd on Meetup. Am I confirmed?

Meetup helps people discover us, but your spot is confirmed only through the event's Luma page. Use the "Request a spot" button on the event card.

Does it cost anything?

Each event card shows the price before you register. If a gathering has a fee, or food and drinks are on you, it will say so up front.

Why isn't the address listed?

We share the neighborhood publicly and the exact venue with confirmed guests. It keeps the evening comfortable for everyone in the room.
